Time & Society: Social Organisation of Time

The expertise of the Research Group TOR with regard to time-use data is not limited to collecting time-use data, but also spills over in the analyses hereof. Since time-use surveys focus on collecting information of contemporary, everyday life, they lend themselves for studying the social organization of time in more broad themes of collective rhythms, daily routines, working time arrangements, childcare, and social inequalities in work-life balance, to more narrowed themes of patterns of (un)healthy lifestyles, food traditions, time-pressure, and methodological issues.
