Franne Mullens obtained her master’s degree in Communication Sciences at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 2014. She also holds a master’s degree in Gender and Diversity. Franne joined the TOR Research Group in January 2017. She was involved in the Kenniscentrum cultuur- en mediaparticipatie for three years where she mainly focused on leisure time and gender differences. Since 2020, she is involved in a project on shorter working hours. Her main research interests include sociology of time, cultural sociology, (gender) equality/inequality and intersectionality.
