Julie Verbeylen obtained a master's degree in Sociology at the KU Leuven in 2013. She also holds a master's degree in Public Management and Policy. Julie joined the TOR Research Group in October 2014 and has been active in several time use projects on work time patterns (e.g. teachers, academic staff). Since 2019, she is involved in a project on the effects of social background on the time use of children and their parents. Her research interests include sociology of work, sociology of time, sociology of the family and social inequality.
